  Angle Edge profiles uses vary depending on area of use. It majorly serves as a solution to cover wall corners and stair edges as well as creating a slip resistant edge on stairs. While function is the main purpose, performance and aesthetics play a major part in the finished product.

  Flat Nose stair profile can be used on existing stairs to create a clean and neat finish. It can be used to hide minor damages on the edge as well as prevent or reduce any further damage. The flat nose profile is ultra thin and durable with a ribbed non-slip surface.

  Easi-Cover profiles core use is to bridge the expansion gap between both surfaces of the same height, minor variances in height can also be covered. The key purpose is to allow movement during expansion and to create a neat finish.

  Transition profiles design enables it to be used as a covering in areas where there is a height varience between the two floor finishes. Main areas that require the use of a transition include tile to laminate, vinyl to tile and vinyl to laminate. Uses may also vary depending on area.

  Wood-End profile has been designed to create a seamless finish in areas where it is difficult to use another profile to cover the expansion gaps especially against a wall or along trelli-gates. and sliding door runners to allow for movement during expansion.

One the most critical requirements when opting to install laminate flooring is the underlay. Rubber underlay is often manufactured from recycled commercial rubber and is mildew and mould resistant, it offers superior sound insulation and impact absorption. The rubber also provides an excellent moisture barrier.

Moisture block underlay has been on the market since the dawn of laminate flooring and provides additional protection to the laminate or floor that is layed on. Moisture block underlay plays a huge roll in so far as blocking or reducing moisture rising and allowing the floor to expand and contract easily.

Similar to the Moisture Block underlay, the standard Airothene underlay has been around for a long time and provides additional protection to the laminate or floor that it has been laid on.
